According to CoinMeta, Russia plans to extend the diesel export ban until the end of September due to the ongoing domestic fuel shortage, and many refineries are still out of operation after being attacked multiple times by Ukrainian drones. Sources also mention that discussions are underway to extend the ban until the end of this year. The diesel export ban implemented from July 8 to 31 was part of a package of measures to support the domestic fuel market, followed by an extension of the ban on fuel producers until August 31. Russia has also prohibited non-fuel producers from exporting diesel and gasoline for vehicles, with the ban lasting until January 31 next year. Although local governments gradually lifted or relaxed restrictions in late July, fuel shortages reappeared in some areas in August.
