According to CoinMeta, Phantom and SUI have reached an agreement to end wallet support on September 24, 2026. After that, Phantom users will no longer be able to view, send, exchange, or interact with SUI assets within the wallet, but these assets will still remain on the SUI blockchain and can be accessed through compatible wallets. Users have the option to convert or migrate their assets to other wallets before the transition. Phantom stated that they will remove SUI balances from their interface and stop supporting SUI transactions, exchanges, and connections to decentralized applications. After migrating to other compatible wallets, users will need to reconnect to the relevant applications. Phantom has not linked this withdrawal to any security vulnerabilities or technical issues, but rather described it as a product transition. Users will still be able to access their SUI assets through compatible wallets after September 24. Phantom reminds users to keep their mnemonic phrases safe for use during the migration process.
