According to CoinMeta, citing two senior officials from the U.S. Treasury Department as quoted by CNBC, the U.S. Treasury Department is considering using funds from the TGA account to support the U.S. Treasury bond repurchase program. Currently, the balance of the TGA account has increased to approximately $950 billion.
