With the end of the main sales season, the current 30-year fixed-rate mortgage rate rose by 10 basis points to 6.64%, the 15-year fixed-rate mortgage rate increased by 2 basis points to 5.88%, and the 5/1 adjustable-rate mortgage rate rose by 50 basis points to 6.74%. Based on Zillow data, mortgage loan rates are generally higher than last week, and it is expected that the 30-year mortgage rate will remain around 6.5% in 2026.
