According to CoinMeta, as reported by Zero Hedge, the Federal Reserve currently holds more than 50% of all bonds with maturities between 10 and 15 years. According to Bloomberg data, the U.S. government currently has $7.5 trillion in Treasury bills and $21.7 trillion in interest-bearing debt. The Federal Reserve's holding of long-term bonds is close to 20%.
