According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, Franklin Templeton ( Franklin Templeton ) has received the first SEC approval, allowing it to incorporate tokenized assets into traditional investment funds. Its blockchain-based money market fund Benji can now be held as collateral in ETF and mutual funds, introducing tokenized assets into portfolios that have never considered such assets before. This move is expected to take effect as early as the fourth quarter of 2026.
