Zach Pandl: SEC Proposes New Regulations or Benefits for ETH, SOL, and BNB
2026-08-22 18:26:47
According to CoinMeta, as reported by Bitcoin.com, Grayscale Research Director Zach Pandl pointed out that if the proposed new regulations for crypto asset financing by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) come into effect, ETH, SOL, and BNB could become the main beneficiaries. The proposal establishes two exemption pathways: projects financing less than $5 million would be exempt from registration for four years, while those financing less than $75 million would be exempt for one year. It also includes a conditional safe harbor, aiming to provide a clear domestic compliance path for crypto asset issuances and reduce the incentive for issuers to operate overseas.
