US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC): Recent Changes in Market Positions

According to CoinMeta, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has recently issued the following statements: As of the week ending August 18th, natural gas speculators at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) reduced their net short positions by 3,405 lots to 66,836 lots. Stock fund speculators increased their net short positions in the S&P 500 index by 5,978 lots to 267,509 lots, and their net long positions increased by 10,361 lots to 952,422 lots. Crude oil futures speculators reduced their net long positions by 3,584 lots to 102,274 lots.
