U.S. Treasury yields rise again, almost erasing all the gains since the intervention by the Treasury Department

According to CoinMeta, U.S. Treasury yields rose for a second consecutive day on Friday, with the 30-year Treasury yield increasing by about 2 basis points at noon to reach 5.27%, gradually approaching the 5.3% level. The 10-year yield also rose by nearly 3 basis points, exceeding 4.73%. The Treasury Department stated that it will "at least double" the amount of 10-year, 20-year, and 30-year Treasuries it repurchases, with the operation set to begin on September 9 and continue until November 4. Bond market observers are skeptical about the effectiveness of the Treasury Department's plan to lower yields, believing that concerns about inflation and the surge in corporate debt will continue to drive up yields. Charlie Bilillo (Charlie Bilello) pointed out that the Treasury Department's "debt repurchase" has not reduced debt; instead, it is merely operating a huge deficit.
