According to CoinMeta, as reported by Coindesk, Bitcoin touched $79,400 during trading on Friday and subsequently hovered around $78,000. The US spot Bitcoin ETF recorded a net inflow of $606 million on Thursday. James Butterfield, head of research at CoinShares, stated that this round of gains is driven by macroeconomic factors, and Bitcoin is highly sensitive to changes in liquidity expectations and actual yields. He pointed out that $80,000 is an important threshold at present, and a breakthrough would require market confirmation of a shift in the Federal Reserve's monetary policy towards easing.
