According to CoinMeta, Trump's crypto wealth has reached $1.4 billion, and 63% of Americans are concerned about the crypto income of his family and WLFI. According to a survey by Reuters/Ipsos, the vast majority of Americans believe that Trump and his family have profited improperly from cryptocurrency investments during his tenure, adding political complexity to the relationship between the government and the digital asset industry. The survey found that 69% of Americans think Trump allows private business interests to influence presidential decisions, and half of the Republican respondents agree with this view. The survey, which concluded on August 17th and covered 1,166 American adults, has an error margin of about 3 percentage points. In his financial disclosure for 2025, Trump reported that his family's cryptocurrency business income exceeded $1.4 billion, including businesses such as World Liberty Finance and presidential-branded meme coins. The White House denies that Trump's business holdings affect government policy; spokesperson Anna Kelly stated that Trump's investments are managed independently and are intended to serve the interests of the American public. Democratic lawmakers, however, are pushing for stricter regulatory measures.
