According to CoinMeta, DeepSeek has announced the launch of a 25GiB image cloud storage service, where users can store images for free, with fees only charged upon retrieval. This cloud storage service will be launched alongside v4-flash-vision-exp. Developers can upload images to DeepSeek and directly reference them in model requests using file_id. Each user can store up to 25GiB of data, which is equivalent to 10,000 files, with each file limited to a maximum size of 64MiB. It is possible to set an expiration date when uploading files, but if no expiration date is specified, the files will be retained permanently. This feature is mainly designed to address issues related to large images and repeated image uploads. However, for now, it only supports JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WEBP formats, and no download interface is provided.
