He believes that a complete decentralized social protocol should allow any client to directly read, write, replay, and verify the entire history without having to trust a single team responsible for storing the infrastructure or holding the verifier keys. Siren mentioned that as infrastructures such as Ethereum, blobs, and EIP-4844 mature, social data can be written in bulk at low cost and re-hosted by anyone, while being verified through on-chain commitments. He hopes to build a replicable and verifiable on-chain social state so that even if the management team changes, the social network itself can continue to exist sustainably.
