GalaChain experiences a $2.9 million security incident, with most of the funds coming from wallets associated with CEO

According to CoinMeta, as reported by crypto journalist Kate Irwin, there was an abnormal outflow of assets on Tuesday this week, with 1.99 billion GALA and other tokens transferred to a new wallet. Approximately 82% of these GALA and $500,000 in other tokens came from the wallet associated with CEO and co-founder Eric Schiermeyer. The GALA developers subsequently submitted fix code for the GalaChain EIP -712 vulnerability on GitHub.
