XCAD Network Announces Cease of Operations, Team Considering Open-Sourcing the Code

According to CoinMeta, the social finance project XCAD Network, which has been in operation for about five years, has announced its cessation of operations. There are currently no remaining funds, and the maintenance of products and services will also stop. The team stated that after retail investors withdrew from the market, the fan token models never truly took off. Subsequently, they attempted to shift to the AI internet celebrity business model, but that too was unsuccessful. The team is considering opening the source code of the project, but emphasized that this does not imply continuing operations or restarting the project. XCAD Network once focused on the watch2earn model and creator tokens, and in 2021, it raised approximately $3.9 million in funding. It also received support from institutions such as Zilliqa, Jump Crypto, LD Capital, and GBV Capital.
