Trump Signs Memorandum to Promote U.S. Space Launches

According to CoinMeta, on August 20th, Trump signed a memorandum proposing that by 2030, U.S. space transportation launch sites and related facilities should have the capability to support more than 1,000 launches and reentries per year. The memorandum calls for the expansion and improvement of space launch and reentry infrastructure, the opening of federal launch sites to commercial users, encouragement of commercial investment, public-private cooperation, and joint development of infrastructure, as well as acceleration of facility licensing and environmental reviews. In addition, NASA is also required to develop a commercial lunar logistics framework and explore architectures for commercial robotic landings on Mars and commercial manned round-trip missions to Mars.
