According to CoinMeta, a couple in France was kidnapped at their home in Lyon-Dragonde. The incident is linked to a Bitcoin ransom demand, which resulted in the man being injured and two people being arrested. Local media reported that on August 20th, at 4 a.m., several individuals broke into the couple's home and threatened them to obtain Bitcoin and other digital assets. The attackers detained the two residents, attempting to force them to hand over a large amount of Bitcoin and digital assets. After a confrontation, the attackers took the two victims away from the residence; the man was later found in Solférino, naked and with multiple wounds on his body. Investigators found the woman in another vehicle within France, but her condition has not been disclosed. Information about the couple remains limited; the media has not published their names, occupations, or an estimate of their digital assets. Following the incident, French gendarmes launched operations in the area, intercepting vehicles on roads connecting Lyon-Dragonde to Les Peyrons. Investigators returned to the couple's home the following day to preserve evidence and collect fingerprints. It is reported that two men were arrested shortly after the incident, but authorities have not yet disclosed their identities or suspected roles.
