According to CoinMeta, as reported by Coindesk, Musk's X is exploring the use of USDC and other stablecoins as a payment method for creators, while also preparing to replace the existing revenue-sharing system. X is discussing whether to pay creators and other content providers with stablecoins, although no payment method has been chosen yet, nor has a timeline been announced for the introduction of stablecoin payments. USDC from Circle is one of the digital tokens being considered. X also plans to end the current revenue-sharing program on September 8th and replace it with an original content reward system. According to the published eligibility rules, creators must have at least 500 certified followers and have recorded at least 500,000 impressions on their homepage timelines from certified users in the past 90 days.
