Bitcoin Price Forecast: BTC Returns to the 200-Day Moving Average, Target 71,500-$72,000
2026-08-20 19:28:56
According to CoinMeta, as reported by Coinpaper, after Bitcoin (BTC) returned to the 200-day simple moving average, the current price target is between $71,500 and $72,000. After breaking through several resistance levels, the short-term structure has been strengthened, and it is now facing a key test at $70,500. The range of $67,000 to $67,200 has become a major support level that bulls need to defend. After a significant rise from the $63,000 support area, Bitcoin has regained several price levels that previously hindered its rebound. Analysts point out that maintaining a price above $67,200 will make any pullbacks considered normal consolidation, rather than evidence of a failed breakout.
