According to CoinMeta, Shiba Inu ( SHIB ) rose by over 12% driven by multiple catalysts, leading to a sudden recovery in the crypto market and the release of $3.1 billion in short liquidations, which represents the largest liquidation movement since 2021. Currently, the trading price of SHIB is $0.00000495, up from yesterday's low of $0.00000443. The token briefly reached a intraday high of $0.00000502 earlier on Thursday. SHIB has risen by 10% in the past seven days, with the market rebound fueled by calls for legislation to regulate the crypto market structure from Congress and increased liquidity in the Treasury bond market. Additionally, SHIB was newly listed on the crypto exchange UEX US and now offers SHIB / USDT trading along with a reward program offering a 4.5% annual return. According to CoinMeta data, the total amount of liquidations reached $3.38 billion, with shorts accounting for the majority at $3.1 billion, marking the largest wave of forced closings since 2021.
