According to CoinMeta, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has established a new Innovation Advisory Committee and invited companies such as Kalshi, Polymarket, and DraftKings to join. The committee will hold its first meeting on Thursday to discuss topics related to market forecasting. Seven of the committee's 35 members come from the event contract industry and are engaged in relevant negotiations with nine state governments.
