According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Yonhap News, South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Coinone is considering integrating technologies such as the wallet and matching engine of its third-largest shareholder, OKX’s Web3. The CEO of Coinone, Cha Myung - hoon, along with the development team, held a technical seminar with OKX in Singapore earlier this month to discuss cooperation on wallets and trading systems. If implemented, this move will see Coinone transition from being a traditional custodial exchange to also supporting non-custodial wallets, as well as scenarios involving DeFi and DApp, among others.
