Russian Pacific Fleet Conducts Missile Shooting Exercises

According to CoinMeta, on August 20th, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that during a planned exercise, the Russian Pacific Fleet launched missile strikes against targets near the coast of the Southern Kuril Islands (referred to by Japan as the "Northern Four Islands"). During the exercise, the targets simulated enemy vessels located over 300 kilometers away. The cruiser "Varyag" fired two "Volcano" anti-ship missiles, while the nuclear-powered submarine "Omsk" launched "Granit" cruise missiles. At the same time, the "Fort" coastal defense system from the Kuril Islands conducted strikes using "Onyx" missiles.
