Stripe reported a 41% year-on-year increase in revenue in the first half of the year, with AI and its crypto business making significant contributions

According to CoinMeta, Wu said that Stripe announced in its latest investor letter that the company’s revenue in the first half of the year increased by 41% year-on-year, and free cash flow grew by 43%. Among them, the contribution of AI and its crypto business to revenue more than doubled compared to a year ago. Approximately 88% of the companies are using Stripe. Stripe also announced the largest acquisition in its history of OpenRouter, which saw its consumption grow at a compound rate of about 9% per week within that year. The company is considering AI and agent along with stablecoins as the next generation of economic infrastructure and expects stablecoins to further become the “native currency” of the AI economy.
