BitMEX Co-founder Hayes Reveals the Conception of Flop Network

According to CoinMeta, Wu said that he learned that BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes published an article titled “The Book of Genesis”, in which they disclosed the concept of Flop Network. The aim is to establish a decentralized AI computing market priced based on actual computing power FLOPS, and to use the native token FLOP as the unified settlement asset for purchasing computing power, paying for inference fees, and incentivizing miners. Hayes mentioned that the project will be launched with self-raised funds, without conducting a large-scale pre-sale. They plan to adopt a fair launch mechanism and will allocate approximately 20% of the token supply to network participants such as the testnet over the long term. He believes that if the AI agent economy continues to expand, the native currency, which directly represents the right to claim computing power, could become an important infrastructure for the machine economy.
