Generac Invests $250 Million to Expand Data Center Equipment Production

According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Reuters, Generac plans to invest $250 million by the end of next year to expand several factories for producing enhanced generators used in data centers. The company currently has an order backlog of $1.6 billion and is expected to hire about 1,000 additional employees, representing a 10% increase. Moreover, with the growing demand for data centers, the manufacturing industry is also recovering. American factories added 5,000 new jobs in July, bringing the total number of jobs to 31,000 for the year.
