According to CoinMeta, a post on the Sei network claims that Giga Upgrade will rebuild the consensus, execution, and storage layers of the blockchain. The first phase of the storage reconstruction project, Eidos, has already been launched. Eidos has transformed the original single-threaded Merkle tree database into a flat-structured, high-concurrency data engine, improving speed and efficiency.
