According to CoinMeta, Anthropic has announced an extension to the Claude Code incentive program, increasing the weekly usage quota by 50%. The program was originally scheduled to end today but has now been extended until August 31st. The company hopes to make this increase a permanent adjustment. This is not the first time the program has been extended; initially, in May of this year, the weekly quota was increased by 50%. However, whether this increase will become permanent remains to be seen. Anthropic stated that there is strong demand for models recently, and computing power may still be in short supply in the coming weeks. The growing demand from Claude is driving the company to continue signing new agreements for computing power and data centers.
