Bitcoin price returns to $64,000, leverage risk increases

According to CoinMeta, the price of Bitcoin rose by 1.7% on August 18, rebounding to around $64,200, supported by inflows of ETF funds. However, the increase in leverage has increased the risk of a pullback. The rebound of Bitcoin in the $62,600 region improved short-term momentum, but the daily chart shows that Bitcoin is still trading below two long-term moving averages. US-listed spot Bitcoin ETF recorded net inflows of over $137 million on Monday, reflecting a recovery in institutional demand after several rounds of selling. Bitcoin fell to $62,600 on August 14 and tested the $62,000 region again on August 17, before climbing to $64,586 on Tuesday. The daily chart of Bitcoin shows a current price of $64,210, slightly above the 20-day simple moving average of $63,802 and the 50-day moving average of $63,889. Maintaining these two levels will help to sustain the short-term rebound and establish the $63,800-$64,000 region as the first support zone.
