According to CoinMeta, Anthropic has announced a major upgrade to its AI design and prototype tool Claude Design, which now supports importing design systems and enables deep two-way synchronization with Claude Code. A key feature of the new version is that developers can use the /design-sync command to extract real design system specifications from their local code repositories and seamlessly import them into Claude Design projects. This update connects the design and development workflows, allowing for the completion of both design and coding within the same process. The new design and skill features are currently in the research and preview stage, and are based on Claude Artifacts.
