According to CoinMeta, Wu said that the crypto service platform blockchain.com has been approved to join the accelerated regulatory incubation program (ARIP) of the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and is allowed to conduct business within the regulatory sandbox specified by this program. The company still needs to comply with SEC's ongoing compliance requirements, testing parameters, and other regulatory conditions. ARIP is aimed at virtual asset service providers and fintech companies, and is mainly used to assess digital asset business models, operational risks, as well as investor protection and anti-money laundering standards.
