RWA DeFi Active deposits reach $3.98 billion, with a low utilization rate of tokenized government bonds

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Cryptopolitan, data from Defillama shows that as of August 18th, the active deposit scale in the DeFi protocol reached $3.98 billion, which is approximately six times higher than the $651 million from a year ago and only $12 million three years ago. The total tokenized issuance of RWA currently amounts to $34.55 billion, with an actual utilization rate of about 11.5% on the chain. Among these, private credit accounts for $2.13 billion, bonds account for $799 million, and reinsurance accounts for $406 million. The utilization rate of tokenized government bonds is relatively low; BlackRock's BUIDL has an issuance volume of $2.74 billion, with only $18 million deployed on the chain, resulting in a utilization rate of 0.66%, while Franklin Templeton's Benji has a utilization rate of zero.
