According to CoinMeta, Wispr Flow has completed a $280 million Series B financing round, led by Menlo Ventures, raising its valuation to $2 billion from $700 million nine months ago, with a total financing amount now reaching $361 million. Wispr Flow allows users to speak directly, and then organizes the spoken words into text that can be sent immediately. It has currently been adopted by over 10,000 companies, and users have used it to write more than 60 billion words in total. The recently launched meeting recording tool has begun to expand from "voice typing" to more office scenarios. The company also previewed its first self-developed voice model, Canto. Officials claim that in challenging scenarios such as background noise, background music, and strong accents, the word error rate can be reduced from over 30% to 5% to 10%. The amount of dictation that previously required manual editing is expected to be reduced by 30% to 35%.
