NVIDIA plans to guarantee $250 billion for OpenAI, financing the purchase of 350 billion chips

According to CoinMeta, NVIDIA is in talks with OpenAI to provide a guarantee of approximately $250 billion for its superdata center project in Ohio. The guarantee covers the long-term lease and park construction loans for OpenAI, excluding chip procurement. The park is developed by SB Energy under SoftBank, with a planned capacity of 10 gigawatts and a total cost that may exceed $500 billion, with completion expected in 2028. NVIDIA will also invest $1.5 billion with the developer SB Energy. The park will primarily use NVIDIA AI computing power. Jensen Huang stated that each generation of systems deployed here could correspond to about 1.5 million GPU, with expected revenue ranging from $150 billion to $200 billion.
