According to CoinMeta, as reported by Reuters, Binance provided identity documents and cryptocurrency transaction records to Russian investigators. These data were later used in a case of terrorist financing against a Yuri Belenkiy expert from Russia, identified as IT. The records included Belenkiy's address, phone number, date of birth, passport, and Bulgarian residence permit. Russian authorities incorporated the details of his Binance transactions into the evidence to support the criminal charges.
