According to CoinMeta, Nvidia is considering investing $3 billion in SB Energy to support OpenAI's new AI data center project in Ohio. Nvidia is currently in discussions with OpenAI and SB Energy regarding a credit support of about $10 billion. It is expected that when the project agreement is signed, Nvidia will invest approximately $1.5 billion, and an additional $1.5 billion will be reinvested through SB Energy's initial public offering (IPO). SB Energy plans to conduct an IPO as soon as possible in September, with the goal of raising at least $5 billion. This investment will not only make Nvidia the main supplier of AI chips but also an important financier for the infrastructure.
