According to CoinMeta, on the 16th, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that Ukrainian forces attacked the "Kamensky United Enterprise" in Rostov Oblast, Russia, which is part of the Russian military-industrial complex. The Ukrainian side stated that a fire broke out at the target site, and the extent of the damage and the outcome of the operation are still being verified. The Ukrainian military claimed that this military-industrial enterprise is an important one for Russia, producing solid rocket fuel for the "Tornado," "Tornado-S" multiple-barreled rocket projectiles, as well as related fuel for various missile systems and aerial strike weapons. On August 16th local time, the Russian Ministry of Defense issued a 24-hour combat report stating that Russian forces had taken control of two settlements, Pershomaryevka in the Donetsk region and Kudiyevka in the Kharkov region. The report mentioned that Russian air defense forces downed 14 guided aerial bombs, 1 American-made "Hamas" rocket, 9 "Flamingo" long-range cruise missiles, and 1,478 fixed-wing drones. Observations indicate that this is the highest number of Ukrainian drones downed by the Russian Ministry of Defense in a single day to date.
