According to CoinMeta, the prediction market platform Kalshi issued a statement in response to the Nevada gambling regulatory agency's decision to impose a daily fine of $120,000 on it. Investigators from the Nevada regulatory agency claimed that after the deadline set by the court, they conducted 9 transactions in Nevada through mobile networks on Kalshi and app, and determined that Kalshi did not comply with geofencing requirements. Kalshi countered by stating that it had hired a licensed provider Geocomply and kept the regulatory authorities informed throughout the process, accusing them of improper investigation methods and violations of federal laws.
