According to CoinMeta, Royal Gold (Nasdaq: RGLD) released its financial report for the second quarter of 2026 on August 6, showing that the company's operational scale has changed significantly compared to last year. Revenue reached $451 million, with operating cash flow reaching a record $335 million, and net income was $236 million, representing year-over-year increases of 115%, 119%, and 79%, respectively. Despite this, management still repurchased shares during the quarter, believing that the market has not yet recognized the value of its portfolio. A notable trend for the quarter was diversification, as no single franchise or stream contributed more than 13%. Adjusted net income was $218 million, or $2.56 per share, a year-over-year increase of 41%. Royal Gold paid out $40 million in dividends this quarter, amounting to $1.90 per share annually, a 6% increase from last year. At the same time, the company also repurchased 147,000 shares during the quarter, spending $30 million on these purchases. Management expects to repay all debt before the fourth quarter.
