FedEx Closes More U.S. Locations to Restructure the Parcel Transportation Network

According to CoinMeta, FedEx has announced that it will close more locations in the United States in order to reshape its parcel transportation network. According to the latest WARN notification, five facilities in Missouri and California will be permanently closed, affecting 316 employees. These closures are part of a larger FedEx reform initiative aimed at improving efficiency and reducing structural costs by integrating its courier and ground transportation operations. FedEx expects to save $2 billion by the fiscal year 2027.
