According to CoinMeta, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Gharibabadi responded to U.S. President Donald Trump's remarks regarding the Strait of Hormuz, stating that "the Strait of Hormuz cannot be controlled by a single tweet, an aircraft carrier, an executive order, or a campaign speech. Iran is neither afraid of threats nor will it be intimidated by force." At the same time, Ali Azmayeri, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Navy, stated that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed and is under complete control of the Iranian military, emphasizing that "the actual situation should be seen on the ground rather than in the statements of American officials."
