According to CoinMeta, venture capital fund Team8 announced the completion of a new fund raising of $365 million, bringing its asset management scale to nearly $2 billion. This round of financing includes $265 million for the third fund of Team8 Capital and over $100 million for subsequent investments. The new fund will focus on investing in seed and Series A stage companies, covering areas such as cybersecurity, AI infrastructure, and fintech, with an emphasis on infrastructure projects related to AI deployment, security, governance, and control capabilities. Team8 has previously invested in cryptocurrency institutional wallet developer Curv, compliance platform Ivix, and data leakage prevention company Jazz.
