According to CoinMeta, OpenAI announced another change in its revenue department, hiring Dali Lajici as the new Chief Revenue Officer to replace Dennis Dreher who joined last December. This move indicates that the company is striving to strengthen sales growth in preparation for its much-anticipated listing on Wall Street. Greg Blochmann, the CEO of OpenAI, stated that in the next phase, the company needs to continuously demonstrate that every dollar invested in artificial intelligence brings “measurable commercial value” to customers. He revealed that OpenAI’s annual revenue growth rate exceeded 20% in July, with the business segment for corporate clients growing by 32%. Last month, OpenAI announced that it had surpassed 1 billion active users per week.
