According to CoinMeta, on the 13th, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces posted on social media that Ukrainian forces attacked a large refinery located in Bashkortostan Republic in southwestern Russia in the early hours of that day, causing a massive fire. The Ukrainian forces stated that the target of the attack was 1,300 kilometers away from the Ukraine-Russia border, and they will continue to strike at key Russian facilities in the future to systematically weaken their combat capabilities. The refinery that was attacked belongs to Gazprom's Salavat Petrochemical Company, which is one of Russia's largest refining and petrochemical complexes, with an annual refining capacity of 10 million tons.
