Google Gemini 3.5 Pro release delayed, 3.7 Flash or launch today
2026-08-13 17:26:27
According to CoinMeta, Google's Gemini 3.5 Pro was originally planned to be released on August 10th, but it may now not even make it to that month. Meanwhile, Gemini 3.7 Flash has already begun to emerge. Leaker blogger Leo claims that Google could release this version as early as today, with the price possibly dropping to $0.75 per million token inputs, resulting in an output of $3.75. If true, this would represent a direct cut in half. The delay in the release of Gemini 3.5 Pro is mainly due to programming capabilities not meeting expectations, and the Google team has now turned to working on the larger-scale Gemini 4.
