Securitize Announces a Net Loss of $21.7 Million in 2026, SECZ Drops by 21%

According to CoinMeta, the financial report released by Securitize on August 12 showed a net loss of $21.7 million in the second quarter of 2026, which is more than three times higher than the $6.1 million in the same period last year. Despite an expansion in its assets and trading activities, revenue still decreased by 5%, from $15.3 million to $14.4 million. The company went public on the New York Stock Exchange on July 2, and the reported quarter ended on June 30, thus preceding its official public listing. Securitize indicated that the average managed asset size of tokenized assets reached a record $4.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 16%. The asset management size at the end of that quarter was also $4.3 billion, representing a growth of 9%. Securitize added approximately $1 billion in assets during that quarter and currently manages around $5 billion in assets on the blockchain.
