According to CoinMeta, Hawaii will officially implement a law that completely bans cryptocurrencies ATM and self-service machines on October 1st, becoming the fourth state in the United States to completely prohibit the use of cryptocurrency ATM. The bill was passed in May and signed into effect by Governor Josh Green in July. The bill states that in 2025, the United States suffered losses of over $11 billion due to digital asset-related scams, with Hawaiian residents losing approximately $80 million in such scams.
