Goldman Sachs acquires Neos for $2.25 billion, with an additional capital injection of about $30 billion

According to CoinMeta, Goldman Sachs has agreed to acquire Neos Investments for up to $2.25 billion. This transaction will add approximately $30 billion in assets and $1.9 billion in income from options to its asset management business. Goldman Sachs stated in a announcement on August 12 that the final payment amount will depend on the performance and service commitments outlined in the acquisition agreement. The deal is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027 and requires regulatory approval. With this acquisition, Goldman Sachs' total ETF assets will exceed $130 billion, of which about $80 billion will be used for actively managed ETF.
