According to CoinMeta, Cashi has announced the launch of its stablecoin consumption application and the public beta test of the Visa card. Users can deposit USDT or USDC to obtain a virtual Visa card, which can be used for payments at merchants that accept Visa, both online and offline. Cashi is expected to be fully launched before the end of the year, targeting users who earn in one currency but consume in another. The founder and CEO of Esther Wong stated, "We built Cashi around a simple concept: money should be easy to hold, easy to consume, and have stable value. Our users are freelancers, families, and global travelers who do not want to trade cryptocurrencies but instead desire a simple, stable, and consumable currency." Currently, users can add the virtual card to Google Pay for offline payments, and Cashi also plans to support Apple Pay and physical cards when it is fully launched. The company mentioned that more than 1,100 people have already joined the waiting list for the public beta test.
