According to CoinMeta, Binance and stablecoin payment card issuer Redotpay have differing opinions on whether the related litigation in Singapore will be terminated. Redotpay stated that after a hearing held on August 7th, it is expected that the litigation in Singapore will be concluded, and they will seek reimbursement for related legal costs from the other party. Binance responded that reports claiming they would withdraw their claims in Singapore are "untrue"; the company has not given up on its claims and has informed both the court and Redotpay of this stance. This litigation is related to a nearly $473 million legal dispute between the two parties in Hong Kong, where Binance's associated company accused Redotpay of violating a business agreement by allowing users to top up their stablecoin payment cards with Binance Pay, resulting in the transfer of over 470,000 Binance Card users and estimated losses of about $472.8 million. Redotpay had previously denied these allegations.
